How Atlas builds knowledge
Atlas builds structured, verified knowledge and publishes it as facts — each with a source, a verification date, and a confidence level. No synthetic score, no recommendation.
Knowledge comes first
Atlas treats knowledge as the product. Before anything is published, Atlas collects and structures information about each option. Pages and comparisons are downstream expressions of that structured data.
Evidence, not a synthetic score
Atlas examines several evidence dimensions for each casino:

For each, Atlas records what is observed — with a source, a verification date, and a confidence level. Where data is missing, the gap is recorded rather than invented. Atlas does not combine these into a single synthetic score, and does not rank operators for you: it shows the facts so you can decide.
Authorization and risk are facts
Whether a casino is authorized in a market, and any known risks, are shown as facts with sources — not folded into a hidden number. “Authorized” is a verifiable status; it never means “endorsed” or “safe”.
Independence by design
Commercial relationships do not influence what Atlas shows or in what order. Nothing is bought, and nothing is manually reordered for commercial reasons. Any affiliate relationship is kept strictly separate from the knowledge.
How the facts change
When underlying data changes, Atlas updates the facts as a deliberate, sourced step — not silently in the background. This keeps the knowledge transparent and auditable.
A work in progress
This methodology is an early version and will evolve. It is not a legal certification or an accuracy guarantee. Parts of the current build use fictional development data to demonstrate the method — they do not describe real casinos and are not gambling advice.
