Who stands behind Atlas

Atlas is run by Jean, President of Atlas. This page names the person accountable for what Atlas publishes, and explains the standards the facts are held to.

Jean, President of Atlas

Atlas is led by Jean, President of Atlas. He is the person accountable for Atlas’s editorial standards — what gets published, and the rule that it must be verifiable. Atlas is deliberately a small, independent operation rather than a faceless “top 10” site: there is a named person who stands behind the facts.

Under his direction, Atlas publishes only what can be checked — an operator’s UK Gambling Commission licence and its status, observed game counts and withdrawal times, named game providers, the operator’s advertised RTP, and any regulatory actions on the official public register. Every important fact carries a source, a verification date and a confidence level, and where data is missing the gap is recorded rather than invented.

The standard the facts are held to

Atlas does not produce a synthetic score and does not name a “best” casino. Licence status is verified on the UKGC public register (high confidence); product details come from secondary sources and are labelled as lower confidence; and any RTP figure is the operator’s own advertised claim, not an Atlas-verified truth. Read the full methodology.

Independence

Commercial relationships never influence the facts Atlas shows. Where an operator link is an affiliate link it is labelled “Ad” and kept strictly downstream. On the UK list, casinos with a current welcome offer are listed first — this is disclosed on the page — but the order never changes a single verified fact. See independence and the affiliate disclosure.

Atlas is informational, not a gambling operator

Atlas takes no wagers and offers no gambling services. Gambling carries real risk: 18+, and only where legal. If you need support, see responsible gambling — GAMSTOP, GamCare and BeGambleAware.

Contact & corrections

Atlas operates under the Atlas Watchers name and is based in France. If you spot a fact that looks wrong or out of date, tell us — corrections are part of the method. Write to contact@atlaswatchers.com or use the contact page.
